MESICS The Healthcare Hoax
Big Problems with the US Healthcare System
Don't Become Another Statistic of Medical Error
When
you're sick, all you want to do is get well and resume
a normal life. So you go to the clinic or the hospital
looking for some help.
Tragically,
a quick visit to the doctor or the emergency room is
becoming more and more dangerous ... |
"
The third leading cause of death in America is
physicians and
hospitals." * |
According the popular white paper "Death by Medicine"
an estimated 783,936 people die each year from medical
error. Of those deaths, about 106,000 are due to adverse
drug reactions.**
How can this be happening?
As a society, we demand "quick fixes"
for our medical problems. And the US health care system
is feeding this demand. Instead of helping you feel
better for a lifetime, doctors and hospitals prescribe
medications that relieve symptoms only. You feel better
for a short while, but your body remains tired and ill.
These quick fixes are costing us our
health and our lives.
Proper Use of Medication Saves Lives
MESICS Prevents Tragedy From Striking in the First
Place
Medications are not all bad. In fact, they can be
extremely useful and do save lives. There is certainly
a place for drugs in health care, and I have the greatest
regard for medicine. I have to. I am a clinical psychologist
and medical psychotherapist with many years experience.
I directed the New England Mindbody Institute for
13 years and worked closely with very capable medical
physicians. My wife and partner in MESICS, Wanda Stevens,
is a medical and psychological professional. She ran
a surgical unit in a Boston area hospital for years.
I know how hard most doctors work to get you well.
But my years of working in the medical field showed
me just how sick we are when we shouldn't be. I also
saw countless doctors joining a large and powerful
drug delivery system.
Now that you know the facts, ask yourself:
- Can I avoid damaging my body with drugs? The long
term effects of which are largely unknown?
- Do I want to risk a life threatening adverse reaction
to medication?
- How many drugs could I avoid taking in my lifetime
if I was healthy instead of sick?
- Wouldn't it be safer to know how to prevent getting
sick in the first place?
MESICS Training will give
you what you need to safely prevent illnesses—before
they get a grip on you. We'll give you the knowledge,
tools and support you need to get healthy and stay
that way. So you can live long and live well.
